Artist's Description

This painting is inspired by water’s ability to flow around, under, over and between all surfaces. No matter how hard or impenetrable they seem, water will find a way to flow. My mind gets stuck in certain patterns. Internal dialogues repeat themselves, draining my life force energy that I deeply need. So I meditate and I pray and I dance and I paint... I heal and the thoughts start to move. The resistance to what is dissipates and I start to flow with it, like water. This painting is medicine for reminding us not to let any negative or draining thought or pattern stay with us. Instead, call upon the energy of the water and ask it to cleanse this thought away, to make it more fluid and grant it the ability to let go, to release. This way, new beautiful thoughts have space to flow into our minds, giving us energy, love, confidence, and peace.

Even though my left arm is doing most of the work and I am often for hours...
