Artist's Description
This image was gratefully created under the energy of the full moon. I had been working hard on a different painting, when a sudden intuition struck me that I needed to get this canvas out of out of the garage and work on it immediately. This painting flowed out effortlessly as if channeled from a different dimension. In 2017, I did a series called “Change Your View” in which I painted over many canvases I had started in my early 20’s, giving them new life infused with energy that flows. “My Star” is an homage to my father, who loved the original painting I had made on this canvas way back in college; a compilation of mismatched stripes and rectangles. This night of painting, healing, and transforming static energy into abundant motion resulted in an ecstatic dance of paintbrushes and color wheels, the new image before you.

Even though my left arm is doing most of the work and I am often for hours...
